Farm Supervisor For Immediate Hiring, Isabela in Isabela, Western Visayas
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Farm Manager, the Farm Supervisor will be responsible for the operational performance of assigned sugarcane plantation area measured in hectares in any of the following assigned functional activity Scheduling and direct supervision of land clearing and preparation activity i.e. deep plowing, harrowing, furrowing, etc. including allocation of labor and farm equipment Scheduling and direct supervision of sugarcane planting including determination of needed cane points, fertilizers, manpower and equipment and ensuring acceptable level of germination rate Scheduling and direct supervision of cultivation or sugarcane growing activities including ratooning, patching, offbaring, furrowing, etc., application of farm inputs such as fertilizers, herbicides, fertigation, etc., and guaranteeing that assigned fieldsareas produce the expectedtarget yields Conduct of crop logging and scheduling and direct supervision of sugarcane harvesting activities i.e. cutting and loading of cane stalks including allocation of the right number of manpower and trucks, and seeing to it that all canes in respective fields are properly ifications College Graduate, degree in Agriculturerelated discipline is an advantage but not required Two 2 years progressive experience in a corporate farm or large plantation. Previous assignment as Supervisor, Team Leader or Superintendent is an advantage. Candidate without farm plantation experience but with related extensive supervisory or leadership experience in previous employment will be considered. A resultsoriented individual with good critical thinking skills. Computer literate and can prepare reports using MS Excel. Physically fit and can drive a motor cycle with valid driving license. Must be willing to relocate work anywhere in the Province of Isabela Region 2.
